The more you do to prepare for your move, the more $$$ you will save.

Please realize that our estimate is based on information that you as a shipper give us. If you originally tell us somethings are not going to be moved, then change your mind deciding to take those items with you, it will add to your weight and add $$$ to your final bill. If your moving locally this situation will add to the time involved in your move and add $$$ to your bill. We are happy to move anything you would like to take providing it is packaged properly for the move.

When packing dishes, always wrap them individually in paper and stack them on their edge, not flat, making sure they are snug in the box. The same applies to glass shelves, etc.

Flat screen TV's are best packaged in the original container, so if possible try to keep the box it came in. If not, we have manufactured TV boxes available for purchase.

Do not pack liquids in boxes, as sometimes we have to turn the box on end to fit the load on our truck, and the liquid may leak.

We cannot load or haul flammable liquids, or gases.

Consider the value of your shipment, what it is worth in dollars. You will be asked to put a value on your possessions so you can choose a valuation level. Valuation is what your shipment is covered at in Tariff charges, although we are fully insured and bonded, we do not sell insurance on your shipment.

Advise us of any unusual circumstances that may pop up. Such as unfinished sidewalks, lawns, or driveways. These type of obstacles are easily overcome if we know about them in advance and can be prepared with the proper equipment and tools.

Preparation, knowing where you will place items in your new home, deciding ahead of moving day which items will be "going" and which ones will not, being packed if your self packing. All of these things will make your move a lot less stressfull on you.
